It is so important to love where you live. After living in town for over twenty years, finally the house was complete, we weren’t even looking. I remember so clearly the day Shane and I drove out to the property, we both got out of the truck, he walked around to all the buildings as I took in the serenity of the property. The first words out of his mouth were “I love it”! Each day we fall more in love with our little farm. That has to be one of my favorite parts of real estate, connecting people with places they love, watching them start planning their lives and living out their dreams.

This year we will hopefully be adding to the fold and flock. I have discovered that I adore Black Copper Maran chickens, they lay the darkest eggs and are very sweet. Plus maybe some pigs!!!
